Research Topic

While I am still not set on the topic, I would really like to look into Vaudeville and how it developed from what it was into our form of Vaudeville today. I would like to see how it went from one form to another and its specific cultural branches to Washington, D.C. I want to see if any specific theatres allowed Vaudeville, if any were known for it, if any did not permit it, etc. I would also like to find specific performers and their contribution to the craft of D.C.

Here is a link I found that I will be using for sure:

Autobiography

My name is Hannah Malinowski. I do not use technology very much and I am not very good with blogging- just to be honest. I do use Facebook to post up important events- shows I am doing at the time being, networking with other actors/directors/technical people for different events, and in order to keep in touch with my family members since most live out of state and I do not see them very often.

I have a Twitter and an Instagram, however, I never use them. I rarely use social media for anything more than the above stated reasons.

I do perform in many local theaters. I am heavily involved in the local theater circut and am starting to get a name for myself for directing and sound design. I love to perform and teach others how to perform as well. I considered being a theater teacher, however I made the decision that that career was not for me. I may eventually go back to school to get my degree in education so that I can teach, but for now, I am happy with my choice to just get a theater degree for the time being.

I am getting married in November to my high school sweetheart and the love of my life, Austin. He’s an amazing and wonderful man who I could not live without. I also have 3 wonderful cats- who Austin and I have lovingly nicknamed our “kids”. We love those cats so much- as if they really truly were our children.

Demonstration Post

I am Hannah Malinowski.

I have very limited ability to use any form of technology (I usually break it). I am a 22 year old senior with a plan for my future in theater. I am getting married on November 14, 2014 to the love of my life, Austin, and we have 3 “kids”- which is actually our cats. I love dance and singing. My favorite food is macaroni and cheese because I am a kid at heart and proud of it!
